What's everybody's favorite albums so far this year? My list:

1. Beastie Boys - To the 5 Boroughs
2. Kanye West - The College Dropout
3. Dilated Peoples - Neighborhood Watch
4. Madvillain - Madvillainy
5. RJD2 - Since We Last Spoke

I haven't heard much this year, so I'm looking forward to other lists.

Yeah, if Rhymesayers decides to officially release it (I refuse to download the bootlegs)...it will probably be my favorite album of the year.

Contradiction:

Um, you really are lame. But, you are right, and I'm a couple summer seasons late. Certainly not the first time. Nevertheless, I appreciate you bringing it to my attention in such gallant manner. Mom would be proud.

Why am I lame?

:(

Anyway, this sounds really weird. But I realllllllly like Trick Daddy's album for some reason.

Oh, and Northernsoul, I bought that Skinnyman album yesterday, love it.

And does Ty count as a 2004 release? I thought it was 2003 also. I got it like right before Christmas, but mine could've been UK import, we get some at our local hip hop record shop.

Check your signature. And you're not lame, contradiction. I was just being an anus. But Mom really is proud of you, kiddo.

Keeping abreast w/ hip-hop output is proving much more difficult these days. Cripes, I only discovered The Maroons today. (Thanks, Cotton.)

i believe although it was released in the uk in late 2003, it came out in north america in 2004, so it still makes my list.

don't thank me, thank an unprecedented 5 year buildup of waiting for that album to come out. they mention it in the liner notes to Quannum's Spectrum
