Since I've amassed a total of 10 posts here now, I guess I should post something about myself. First off, I travel a lot and generally work all the time so my Obner time is limited. I'm originally from Chicago, grew up in Oklahoma City and now reside in Jax, FL. Heard lots of great music during my formative years at Oklahoma State U. back in the days of KSPI in Stillwater, OK. That was my introduction to "college" music and I've been searching out good new tunes ever since. I just got a new 60 GB iPod and loaded it up with all my favorites, so I'm stoked about that. My interests are pretty broad. I've been listening to a lot of Black Keys, Interpol, Arcade Fire, TV On The Radio, PJ Harvey and old blues artists lately. That said, I really dig all the ideas that I get from you guys at Obner. I'm a faithful CMJ board visitor since 2000 or 2001.

Hi to you, too.
Born and raised in the Chicago-area, myself... Highland Park, to be exact.
Welcome back to the new digs.

Thanks for the warm reception. Tell me where to send my picture and I'll get one out. I'm shopping for a new job that will, hopefully, afford me more time to contribute.

I spent many a evening hoping the meteorological conditions would be just right so I could pick up the Spy down in OKC...they recently moved the station down to OKC and unfortunately that only lasted a few months, so I guess the Spy has went the way of the dinosaur

but anyway, welcome back...and thanks for the SK too
