Been jamming with some fellows in Toronto over the past year or so. We did some recording, plopped a free EP onto bandcamp.

Gotta share it with the obnersphere :rockbanana:

RIYL: Drive Like Jehu, The Jesus Lizard, Future Of The Left

Hope you dig - please share if you do!

J

I like it!

You're doomed.

I would buy a CD copy.

Listenin'

Yeah I get the Jesus Lizard bit. How did you record it? Like, a home recording project gone good, or something more formal?

Thanks, Finch!

Cap'n, we just recorded it quick 'n' dirty in a rented rehearsal room. Used an ART TubeFire 8 and what mics we had between us and the 58's in the room. Mixed it on my MacBook Pro.

Sounds good! I like the tunes. And, I hear the JL stuff, too. A lot. But this is not a bad thing, at all.
Also, given the way it was recorded, the sound of it all is excellent. You must've had some pretty good pics between you all.
Digging it with a large shovel!

Thanks, Todd! Actually, I can tell you almost exactly what we used for mics:

Something like 4 or 5 SM58's
2 SM57's
1 AT2020

There may have been 1 more kinda random nameless 58 knockoff in the mix, but that's it!
