I do.
It's pretty dead, but there are a couple of new posters there and, it's picked up a little. There are maybe 15 new posts a day, or so.

Still, good peeps over there.
I hope the NMM rights itself.
Great mag.

Once a week I usually stop by to read mellotrongirl's posts. I always valued her contributions to the cmj board - her ability to articulate the complexities & conventions of psychedelic sound is beyond impressive. Her illustrations are accurate and colorful, so much that she's sold me several hard-to-find, short-lived European bands from the 60s and 70s. And I pretty much wrote off this genre as 'utter crap' before taking her advice and discovering the goods. And before I remove my head from her ass, I'd also mention she never condescends other posters. She'll jab & poke fun, but never assails. If I weren't happily married and halfway sane, I'd probably stalk her.

Other than that, cmj's a graveyard of obner souls.

I would post there if

a.) there were more hours in the day to screw off

b.) other people posted stuff worth responding to without me having to start threads regularly cause I'm lazy like that.

I do because I'm trying to get to 4000 posts FOR THE THIRD TIME*.

*Thinly veiled reference to board crashes.
