For those who live in the Philly, Allentown, Bethlehem area. My lesbian professor recommended a bar called The Stonewall. Are you familiar with it? I need a place to go whenever I'm in the area.

I wonder, are the Pennsylvania fags any different than the NY fags?

you don't have to be gay to enjoy gay.

I can honestly say that New York New York is a great place to get stupid drunk. I used to live across the street from it and they keep it open very, very, very late.

HA! I've been to the Stonewall. You just outed me!

I'm not gay but I went there with an ex girlfriend during New Years of 2002 and one other time with some friends. My only complaint was that it was really damn smokey, like more smokey than any other bar that I've been to.

It's a pretty cool place but I didn't get the impression that it was anything special. For New Years, they had a transexual DJ that played such good tunes to keep the dancing at a maximum energy level. Also, there seemed to be more lesbians than gay dudes. Hearing about it from the older people in the Allentown area, it seemed to be A LOT wilder in it's heyday in the 80's than now.

That's so funny. Well my professor's gotta be in her 50s so you may be right about the generation thing.

Is there any chance a nice guy from NY can persuade you and girlfriend to join me for a couple of drinks when I'm in town...;)

opa, shouldn't you be pissed that the stonewall copped its name from a historic queer spot in your own nyc? that's like another city calling their baseball diamond "yankee stadium."

we used to always cruise over there when all the fun people got fired from Harris's. My girlfriend used to work at Havana

You've never asked. Although I'm not entirely comfortable with the amount of my-ass-grabbing that went on in the one gay dance club I went to in Indianapolis.

just watch the last Real World, it seemed like they ONLY went to gay bars.

I've been to a few and as a strait man Bump creeped me out the least. Though I'm not sure if you want to go to the bar that creeped me out the least or not.

I like talking about baseball with the buch lesbians at Sisters.
