You gotta have a dream
'Cause if you don't have a dream
How you gonna have a dream come true?

"Happy Talk" from South Pacific

A really great song.

And, conversely, how would you ever have your dreams dashed against the jagged rocks of reality?

After that 90210 fiasco, I wouldn't be surprised if the good Senator jumps in with an affinity for show tunes.

That said, "On The Street Where You Live" might be the greatest love song ever penned.

Well like all card carrying nancy boys I CAN sing the whole score to West Side Story

Yup, Rogers and Hammerstein knew what they were doing. And so did Bernstein.

Going a bit new school: Avenue Q

"Everyone's a little bit racist
Sometimes.
Doesn't mean we go
Around committing hate crimes.
Look around and you will find
No one's really color blind.
Maybe it's a fact
We all should face
Everyone makes judgments
Based on race."

"There's a fine, fine line between a lover and a friend;
There's a fine, fine line between reality and pretend;
And you never know 'til you reach the top if it was worth the uphill climb.

There's a fine, fine line between love
And a waste of time."

"Don't stress,
Relax,
Let life roll off your backs
Except for death and paying taxes,
Everything in life is only for now!"
