heard any of their new stuff yet? They've got a new track out, "All the Young Fascists" from their forthcoming album, Love is the New Hate. It's definitely got more of the the vibe of the old Shihad, thus helpng to erase that whole Pacifier bad-dream from my memory. Sounds kinda Mars Voltary, but in a Shihad kinda way. The new album comes out some time in May i think. I'm going to see them at Splendour in the Grass in July, and hopefully they still rock as much as last time i saw them, circa The General Electric. They used to fucking rock with the best of them.

Sorry I missed this because I've been on holiday in Hawaii but yeah I'll probably buy the new album. Pacifier sucked balls and sounded like shitty american alt-rock, and I quickly traded it in.I'm hoping the name change back will signal a return to form for them.

Saw them at the BDO at the beginning of the year and they still have it live, but they always were a killer live band.

the album comes out today, i think. Well in NZ anyway. We have to wait till the end of May.
