Yay! I pulled another box of CDs out of storage! 200 CDs, all beginning with B!

I forgot how much I liked this record. You fans of the Jason Falkner/Jon Brion one-shot band The Grays would like this. Plus there's cellos. (String arrangements by David Campbell, who I assume is David "String Arrangements on
Sea Change and, Oh Yeah, I'm Beck's Father" Campbell.)

For an album that I played the shit out of in 1980, this isn't a very good album. "Rapture" and "Do the Dark" are extra-spiffy, and maybe "T-Birds" and "Live It Up," but it's a bit of a snooze after that. (Reggae puts me to sleep, so not much love for "The Tide Is High.")
My previous the-shit-being-played-out-of-it was probably a contact high held over from
Eat to the Beat, which still makes me soil myself with delight.
