career highlights of a Golden Boy:

Son of Marni Nixon and academy award-winning composer Ernest Gold

Has arranged, written, produced and/or played for Linda Ronstadt, Art Garfunkel, Celine Dion, 10CC, James Taylor, Ringo Starr, Brian Wilson, Jackson Browne, Don Henley, Diana Ross, Trisha Yearwood, Cher,
Wynonna, Paul McCartney, Nicolette Larson, Stephen Bishop, Vince Gill, Aaron Neville, Eikichi Yazawa and good grief holy cripe hundreds more, god luv him.

Was in Wax with Graham Gouldman, who were actually pretty good.

In Bryndle with Karla Bonoff, Kenny Edwards and Wendy Waldman, who are actually pretty good.

Wrote the theme to Mad About You. Saints preserve us.

Has been the voice of Alvin The Chipmunk at times.

This is a Renaissance Man of the highest calibre. And oh that beard, Andy-poo-poo.

see, Phil, I knew you'd understand! :D
Stephen Bishop... now there's a name I haven't heard in forever.
I remember getting my wisdom teeth pulled while Nicolette Larson's "Lotta Love" song played overhead. I was high on gas, and that little nugget managed to stick with me all these years.

Steve Jones played Bishop's "On And On" on Jonesey's Jukebox today. And Rupert Holmes' "Pina Colada Song" .

Maybe this Loggins/Messina reunion will have an audience after all...

Larson and Young were very close friends, he was pretty shaken up when she died.

Andrew Gold had that one hit wonder" Lonely Boy" which I managed to get Konstantin addicted to a couple years back..hehe. Love that song.

And Stephen Bishop recorded one of my favorite love songs though a bit cheesy, " Maybe it's You" aka the Theme from Tootsie.

I friggin bought his greatest hits just for that damn song.

And hey, I've always liked Kenny Loggins.
