Archie Bunker is the best television charcter EVER

All In The Family was a US version of a UK sitcom called Till Death Do Us Part. You probably know that but I felt I had to mention it under the circumstances.

I believe Three's Company, Sanford and Son and a bunch of other old "US shows" were based on British versions.

I could be wrong but I believe the UK generally just imports US shows rather than create British versions.

Ah, probably a little too young to remember My World and Welcome To It, an old Prime Time Access show (7:30, 6:30 Central Time) from 1969-1970, with William Windom as a cartoonist, based on James Thurber's drawings and writings. Live action show with many little animated segments. I wonder if it's as good as I remember it.
