Me.

How good is good? I'm not sure yet but at this stage it'd be in my Top 10 of the year.

I was thinking about a RIYL and I thought if you liked Arcade Fire you might like The Go Betweens even though they're not a perfect match sound wise. It's essentially polished indie rock/pop.

You can hear alittle bit of Prefab Sprout in there, a little bit of Deacon Blue and I'd imagine they have a few Crowded House albums back at the apartment.

I'd strongly recommend Before Hollywood and Spring Hill Fair.

I haven't really spent enough time with it, but so far I rather enjoy it

i've just started getting into the go-betweens...thanks in part to a post by KPH about "draining the pool".

i have "oceans apart", but haven't even listened to it yet. i've been spending my time with a singles comp of some older material and their "bright orange..." and "friends of rachel worth" albums.

i am really enjoying them though, and am looking forward to finally listening to the new one.

I've only given it a few spins, but already I think it's above average and better than the last 2. With that said, I don't think the post-reunion material comes close to the first few albums.

<-- marginal thumbs up from this guy (oh, and it's available on emusic)
