If you can tell me what it is it will go away.

This song is stuck in my head. I think I heard it once and it has come back to haunt me. Anyone know who sings this and what song it is?

i have no clue, but i am going out on a whim here. secret machines? only reason why i say this is b/c someone has this as their signature, and their screen name is the secret machine

Sweet. Thanks for that link. That person has AIM so whenever they get online I can ask them. Hope they are up for an anonymous internet stalker style question.

Foiled. The person who has some of the lyrics in their sig on a message board is online now. I have sent about 3 messages in the last hour.

So far, it doesn't look like I will be getting a response.

There is always Option 2, which is to listen to every cd I have until I find it, if in fact I own the cd on which the song resides.

This happens to me a lot. Happened when I first heard Mr.Brightside.

I had half the song in my head for days and I had to search absolutely everywhere to find out who sung it and what its name was.

Why not try sticking the lyrics into google? Most often than not, that will bring back an answer.

Yeah google only came up with that message board where the person had the lyrics in their signature.
