There was a very liberal attorney named William Kuntsler. In fact he defended the Chicago 7. Later in his life he defended every shitbag you can imagine which earned him scorn from everyone including me.

However he was providing a necessary service. Good legal representation for those who would not normally be able to afford it.

This is how I feel about Chomsky and Zinn. Necessary assholes.
