Dude has pretty nice metacritic results with Wind in the Wires and hasn't gotten too much attention here yet. My first listen is meh. Wolf actually pulls off what Oberst attempted in Digital Ash..., but maybe it's just not my thing. Acoustic instruments + electronics can work (Beth Orton), but some of the beats seem too aggressive for singer/songwriter stuff.

I think there are some fans here (Max? backspace?) and am curious to know what you all think.

nice timing. i just heard this album for the first time this past weekend. on first listen, i loved it. i'm just hoping it does not pull an antony & the johnsons and i hate it upon second visit.
i guess i'll find out later today.

I love this record madly, but not as much as the new Nine Inch Nails.

On my list of albums to check out. I gotta say, though, the more I listen to digital ash in a digital urn, the more I like it. Especially that time code song.
