i actually busted my knees up pretty bad during softball yesterday, so even the remote dream of going there has been put on hold while I heal....

Pigeon John is playing too, he's pretty funny. I'm not gonna be there late enough so I'm gonna miss it.

I actually made it in Amoeba for almost an hour on Saturday & didn't buy a thing! I'm getting better

it was a funky adventure on the basepaths for me.....i look like i just came out of war with the random places i have scrapes and bruises...

who knew softball was so violent?

Ha! I played softball for about 25 years -- fastpitch and slo. My fastpitch years consisted of playing as a catcher or 3B, so I DEFINITELY know about violence (ie, people sliding into home trying to knock me down or plain ol' going out of their way to plow into me). I had a blast playing, unfortunately, I now have the nagging sports injuries (torn rotator cuff and bad knees) to remind me of my softball career.

And, Damen, shopping in Amoeba and NOT buying a thing? That's unheard of!
