Classic. The Colbert bit where he played the audiotape of Laura Bush's later performance was hilarious. John Stewart, not a dude afraid to launch nuclear weapins at people.

And then there is Zell. He has reached Ross Perot/Michael/Straight-up crazy motherfucker.

I can't tell if Stewart is afraid of him, or Zell is half-daft, and Stewart is having to coax coherent answers out of him.

Zell: how far the mighty have fallen.

i dunno, it looked to me like Zell had some crackpot ideas that he wanted to talk about and some others that he knew wouldn't fly on the daily show and he picked his spots. the laura bush thing was fucking AWESOME though.

Madison Square was the site of his greatest triumph on the nat'l stage (nominating address for bill clinton in '92) and his fall from grace, and reason (keynote at the '04 gop convo.).

Still, I give the man a little credit for having a letter drafted to me after I wrote to him about events in Georgia in the mid-nineties. A form letter, sure, but I was in 'Sconsin -- he wouldn't have lost my vote by chucking the letter unread in the circular file.

they just re-aired this episode here last night.

That horse jizz bit was great.

Dubya: "in FACT, bring me TWO horses. That way I can suck on one horse c**k while I jerk off the other. And I won't stop until i'm drowning in horse jizz."

Did I say "horse jizz" enough in this post?

Wait. Let me say it again:

Horse Jizz.
