YOUR MY BOY BLUE!!!!!

Thanks for the mix sir. I'm diggin it. I actually played it over dinner and wine (substituted this for the single malt) with the little lady the other night and it went over famously.

Great tunes, continuity, and sequencing. Mixes should all aspire to create such a single mood.

Faves:

Joe Henry
Jolie Holland
Richard Buckner
Mark Lanegan
Jim White

I'll have to dig deeper with these folks.

Thanks man. :rawk:

That is exactly the use for which it was intended!

Glad to know you got it! And, yeh, all 5 of those faves you listed are definitely worth a deeper dig. PM me if you need help with the excavation!

Yeah, BR can put together a mighty fine mix. He's turned me onto many great artists, including Joe Henry and Jolie Holland---Gingersol too. Henry's Trampoline and Tiny Voices are excellent albums.

I actually looked up Ariel Ramirez after hearing the Buckner song and it was pretty interesting. She was apparently an Argentine classic pianist I believe who disappeared into drug addicion. The song is basically from the perspective of her husband/lover. Made it even better.

May take you up on the excavation Rad.
