You know how bands always have a list of thank you's in the CD booklet or record sleeve? Well since my band, The Shambolic Trumpets, will never play any instruments, write any songs or tour any countries and, infact, will only ever exist in my head, I thought I'd post the 'Thank You' list that would appear if ever an album did appear.

So here it is. You might want to post your own thank you list below or simply ignore this thread and post instead on your underwear preference. It's entirely up to you. But The Shambolic Trumpets would like to thank the following people...

Thanks To:
My entire family, especially Robert Hunter & Ted, Chrissy McAree (and Michael and Tony and Fegs). Andy Sim for the goalie practice. Cozzy, Toad and the rest of the NP gang. John 'Shades' Robertson, all my friends at Brannock (Nicola, Sohail, Scott, Caroline and all the rest of you), Kevin Drysdale, Graham 'Airdrie Scum' Kirkwood. Everyone at the KSV especially Sarah Wodehouse, Alistair Ritchie, Joe Dodds, Neil (for his soldering iron skills and recommending early Ultravox) and most of all the nicest, kindest man on the planet - Junior McFarlane.

Big shout outs to 'Magic' Alex Fleming, Katie Barrowmann, the mysterious Dr Jordy, Martin Ferguson, Nick Clough, Iain 'Going Japanese' Mathieson and in particular, the brilliant all-rounder Kirsty Forsyth.

I'd also like to thank Melissa Lopez, Natalie 'Elmo' Harris and Gayla Hicks, the CMJer's who I've met and who fed me (Katie, Tania and Colin), and the CMJer's I haven't met but who would probably subsidise my lunch if we did. I'd like to thank anyone who has send me an e-mail, gave me a good grade, laughed at one of my 'jokes', fired me or scored a goal for Motherwell FC. All the love of a son to John Ravenscroft.

Finally, thanks so special they are in bold,

Neil H, Andrew S, Amy U.

Is this reference to your new career? You hire yourself out for "corrupting" Mormons, taking photographs of them in their undies, or diapers (if they have a infantilization or scat fetish), and then, as Jack Black said so eloquently, "fucking them hard"?

Someday I hope my illusory band Bonehead Pavilion & Trikes will build enough to merit an opening slot for the Shambos. Legends. Bloody legends. :rawk: :pimp:

Our bouzouki/jewsharp/washboard & timpani version of Joe Henry's "Widows Of The Revolution" is a thing of beauty.
