Anyone seen him/them live? He is coming to my quaint little hamlet of Jacksonville. I'm planning on taking in the show and want to know what other people have experienced.

i saw them about three years ago in philly and it would've been a very intimate, lovely show were it not crowded as balls and teeming with hipsters. nonetheless, he had a friend and his sister on stage and it turned out to be a suprisingly full sound. Depending on the venue he could be great, though i'm not sure about in a larger one.

Seeing him last year in Montreal was amazing, particularly because he was able to shut up a too-often boisterous crowd at La Sala Rossa. Stuck very closely to material from both full-lengths, but it was endearing live, especially. Lacked banjo, though. He's brilliant. Go!
