Like Top 20 or something. And this is 2 listens in. I loved It Still Moves and The Tennessee Fire, but this blows them both away in my mind. So great.

Yea, I'll need to check those out. What should I get first?

get the split with songs: ohia first.

contains two of mmj's finest: o is the one that is real and how do you know.

I need to pick up that split with Songs:Ohia. I'd also recommend the overlooked acoustic EP that came out this year. Acoustic Citsuoca.

Pretty good. 5 songs recorded in Dallas, Athens, and either Austin or Nashville I can't remember.

Yes. This is probably my favorite MMJ tune. Maybe 2nd to Magheeta. Great song, though.

In my opinion that EP is the strongest MMJ relase actually. Those are both excellent tracks.

I forgot that I have the Chocolate & Ice EP, but I'll be looking for the split.

Ok, seriously. I'm listening to At Dawn for the second time today - third time since last night - and it's doing the trick. I have since gotten a copy of the MMJ/Songs:Ohia split since the first post in this thread and love it. I need to still get the acoustic ep and the two rarities comps and that import comp if its any different from the rarities comps. F-ing hell, I love this shiite.

careful, those rarities discs are definitely collector's material. a coupla good tunes here and there, but nothing like the greatness that you are experiencing on the albums and ep's that you have already.

i've always thought their stuff generally all sounds the same, though i've heard little more than the first album and their cover of "Rocket Man". I should check out that split EP.

Did kicking out the rest of the band help or hurt this theory? should i check them out in TN?

Yea, I have been reading up on them a bit this morning and get that impression. A few of them are up on half.com for fairly cheap, so that's the route I am probably going to go. Thanks for the heads up.
