But The Tragically Hip are playing the halftime show at the CFL's Grey Cup. And it's pretty good - this coming from a Canuck who doesn't particularly like them that much.

Some of you guys must like this band, nu?

If I had to pick one mainstream Canadian act to perform at a halftime show, it would be the Hip. It sure beats the has been's they usually feature (BTO, Guess Who, etc).

I only own one album from the Hip (...Henhouse), but I dig it. I will always take the Guess Who, though, but that's just me.

In other non-tittie news, Macca his headlining the Super Bowl halftime show.

The first thing I thought was Janet from Three's Company, who I always thought was cute.

My suggestions:

For the Hip, buy this...

[img][200:200]http://www.zeroartradio.com/Albumpics/tragically_hip-fully_completely.jpg[/img]

... and, unless you totally love it, leave all their other albums alone.

When it comes to Blue Rodeo, buy this...

[img][200:200]http://www.songlyricscollection.com/lyrics/b/Blue-Rodeo/Diamond-Mine/Blue-Rodeo-Diamond-Mine-cover.jpg[/img]

... and leave all their other albums in the CD store's racks.

And if I was looking for a Janet, I'd go for Mrs. Gretzky...

... and forget about all the others.
