You didn't exactly have to worry about me knocking on the door to your Port-A-Let before you made this comment.

Yeah, you can bugger off and die.

My point was that I don't really like Janeane or especially Margaret Cho much anymore. But people I knew that hated them from day 1, like 10 years ago, were mostly humorless twats.

Yeah, I'm pretty humorless.

Garofalo & Cho : Comedy :: Parade Magazine & USA Weekend :: Journalism.

Cho's not very funny anymore, but she used to be.

Janeane, well I wouldn't put her in the same suck category, though she was better a decade ago. Hating her makes little sense to me.

Wanda Sykes has only been funny recently. She used to rely mostly on "you all fucking stupid" jokes and on attitude without any real punchlines. She's better the last few years.

Another co-worker took the tickets and said she and her husband may have been the only straights in the audience.

The show according to her consisted of a bunch of in-jokes that they didn't get but the audience did. Lots of jokes about the Republican party, Dubya, Catholic Church, the Pope. Overly preachy on a bunch of subjects.

She said there were some genuine laughs, but nothing that had her crying.

Glad I passed.

Calling Corey not funny is a sure sign that you are humorless douchebag.

with apologies to Dri, her early shows about her Korean mom are FUNNY.

I remember kids with moms like this from when I lived there.

Now, not so much.

i know we are mostly talking stand-up, but the chick from The State who is on Reno 911 has amazing comic timing.
