Daniel Johnston - Discovered Covered
I can't remember if this collection was discussed on the boards yet. It bears repeating anyway...
I think it's great. Has plenty of great tunes from Johnston's catalog. Gives you a good scope of his work. Also, the covers disc is super. You get to hear (and read about in the liners) all these great bands giving props to the man. Most of them giving him respect for his songwriting, but also for his attitude and spirit and unabashedness when it comes to playing and recording his songs. Have you seen the bands on this? Teenage Fanclub w/ Jad Fair, Clem Snide, eels, TVOTR, Calvin Johnson, Bright Eyes, DCFC, Sparklehorse w/ Flaming Lips, Beck, Mercury Rev, Tom Waits, and more! A very, very well done tribute if you ask me.

Matador At 15
I guess nothing more needs to be said other than "A disc full of hits, a disc full of rarities, and a DVD full of videos...also it's cheap." But i just got this today and listened to the "hits" disc. It's wonderful. kudos to Matador for having a cool roster for this past half-decade. if i was to make a "hits" disc (as i've been known to do on rare occasion), i don't think i would change a thing. also, the liner notes, a series of emails of inter-office banter, hate mail, the pitchfork non-debacle, whiney demo pushers, is hilarious.

The Mercury Rev song on the Daniel Johnston trib. is amazing enough to buy this comp for....It was a very worthy purchase - it's like a really good comp and a greatest hits all in one...
