i hate to sound like a partypooper, but the national kinda sucked a little bit last night. i was really hoping for something special since i've been enjoying alligator so much, but they just had no energy.

I think Dri said the same thing -- she walked out.

Yup I walked out of the National, but I wasn't there for them. I was only there for Menomena. Decided to check out the National for a bit to see what the hype was about (but I didn't like Alligator either) and boy, did they suck.

menomena wasn't so hot either. another energy problem. the drummer was into it, but the other two dudes may as well have been doing their taxes on stage.
