David Gilmour hated The Final Cut, but that's 'cause it was basically a Roger Waters solo album.

Dave's wrong. And Roger hasn't come near it since.

But Syd aside, About Face is probably the best Floyd solo album.

What, not Nick Mason's Fictitious Sports?

I'm rambling.

i have a soft spot for radio kaos myself. i'm sure if i heard it now, i'd understand how cheesy it is...but back in 9th grade, it was the best thing i'd ever heard.

There's good stuff on all the Waters albums, but then he fucks them up with something stupid (Marv Albert?!?!).

Maybe this belongs in the "Songs you wish were longer" thread, but the main problem with Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking is that Waters keeps coming up with interesting melodic ideas and then immediately abandons them and veers off to another Clapton solo.

Here's a summary of that album: "Women are bitches. Women are bitches. Women are bitches. Women are bitches. Women are bitches. I love you."

I liked NM'sFS, almost as much as DG's first (untitled) solo album.Maybe more.Ramble on. In that other thread, where I posted first with a size=7, and then with a size=1? I hadn't seen this post of yours here, yet. Bizarre.

I read in Rolliong Stone that Dave Grohl doesn't like the Foo Fighters last disc.

Good, I thought it was easily their worst. This gives me hope that the new one will be decent.

and for what? ridiculous, the best thing he ever made and he'll dislike it and then put out bland ass shit like make believe.

Excellent point. How can he possibly hate Pinkerton and then write a song like 'We're All on Drugs'?

the most basic answer, and the one i feel like using, is that HE SUCKS. SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS.

Billy Joels hates "We Didn't Start the Fire", and so do I.

The Beastie Boys apologized for much lyrical content on "License to Ill."
