We wouldn't even have considered a cruise 10 years ago, but 10 years ago I was in my 20's. Now I'm pushing 40 and I just can't party like I used to. Frankly, I'd be happy with a cruise made up of people 30-45.

steve, i'm tellin' ya. you're slipping into the dark side with this. don't give me that "can't party like you used to" crap. of course you can't, but don't start doing middle age boring stuff. soon you're going to start discussing grills and lawns and the price of produce. i just went to a family/school function this weekend and wanted to peel my eyelashes off one at a time because these people were so d.u.l.l.

i'm not telling you what to do but it's just a word of caution to all you "pushing 40" folks.

stay cool, steve.

See, that's when you start making off-the-wall comments, like "I support Michael", and when they ask about whether or not you'd leave your child with him, tell them, "yeah, he can molest my kid...for several grand a day, I'd do it". Then just sit back and watch the sparks fly.

My dad would fall for the "but communism would work in an ideal society" jab every time.

HA! I know, I know. I'm hanging in there. I didn't mean to give the impression that I'm waiting on a rocking chair. It is normal to want to hang with people your own age though, right? We just can't find couples our own age that like the things we do. And the "kids" go full throttle which is a bit too much for us.

Steve
