D --> G is more versatile than it looks.

A (open 5ths) -> Eb (open 5ths)

A Maj -> C# Min

when in doubt, up a half step

I love playing an instrument I don't know, and just seeing where the fingers land, too

What kind of rock and rollers are you?

C to Am

For extended trance work:

Cm to Dm

I'm going to crack this code, and you'll all be sorry.

Major IV to Borrowed minor iv.

For example, in G Major, work your way to the IV chord, C Major, and then cadence on a c minor.

Doesn't get more pop than that, but you have to use it sparingly.

To make your music more like Radiohead, go with:

F min -> E maj
Bbmin -> AmAug5 (x1332x -> x0321x...do it like this: x13x2x-03x1x and you can do it on any fret)
