I'm sure this has been discussed here before, but this looks like a pretty sweet deal. Does anyone have it? How's the selection? Is there a catch?

I've used it for the past few months. You get exactly what they advertise - any release for $5.99 with free shipping. The only catch is that you have to have at least one CD in your queue every month or they'll send you a random selection automatically. And yes, the CDs in your queue are all $5.99 as well.

They have a decent selection if you're into mainstream releases. I'd recommend milking their inventory for a few months and then cancel your subscription when you're done.

I have it. There's a decent selection of the normal stuff you can get from BMG + Columbia House i.e. almost no indie stuff. No catch that I can see though I keep getting messages saying that some albums may not be available for the time at which you have them in your queue so you should purchase them now.

I have it and like it for what it's worth. It's easier picking up the more mainstream stuff at $6 a pop than trying to find it on sale.

I'm going to go fishing for box sets on there, I think the Atlantic R&B Box can be had for about $50, which is a steal.

Yeah, it's great for getting a lot of older mainstream stuff. It's a limited selection, but I've managed to keep around 30 albums in my queue. I've gotten a lot of good stuff so far that I might not have ever picked up otherwise.

I think I'm gonna holler at this sometime soon.

i use it a lot. great for catching up and completely catalogues to some popular older artists. as well as being great for getting box sets n such. (i got that Faces' boxset for 25 bucks, and its usually like 50+.)

i'd like to get a cd in the mail every month
