so I took your advice, and set my ISO settings on the digital camera to 100 or 200, trying to get a better picture of my black lab. Lo and behold, I think I got one of the best pictures ever of her! Thanks for the tip!

Don't worry about it, I have those same issues too. ;)

EDIT: OMG, your dog is beautiful. I'd spit on her if I were there but I'll do it from here...

Oh, yeah, spitting is good in Greek culture, isn't it? :)
I'm sure Loon would be a bit mortified though, as she is one of the freakiest dogs ever. I blame it all on an unfortunate dry cleaner bag incident, where one blew over a fence and onto her while she was doing her "business."

She is also quite a diva, and must be loved on her terms only.

It depends. People have been known to get into fights after getting hit in the face with some unsual things, like dentures and toothpicks.

we've determined she definitely does not have any newfie in her...and our vet thinks she could be a flat-coated retriever.

ha ha, I don't mind hijacking at all! Seamus does look rather sad in the background, doesn't he?

Here's a couple more of my babies taken recently... also my avatar is a new one of my boy Bean. btw, Loon (the lab) is 9, and Bean (the collie mix) is 11.

I probably will wait til I graduate until I adopt another dog, but I know he or she will be a rotty. Female rotties make the best pets.

Here's a crop photo of my Effie. She looks exactly like this bird only with a little more red on her.

She's a 6 month old Yellow Fronted Amazon Parrot and she doesn't shut up. She says things like, "hello", "what do you want", "buh bye", "are you a good girl", "malaka", among other things.
