After hearing "San Franciscan Nights" by Eric Burdon & The Animals recently I have concluded that the lame intro to that song marks the point at which the Sixties jumped the shark.

What about the 70's? 80's? 90's? 00's?

I don't know this song, but Eric Burdon rules.

I know this song, and that's why I don't think he rules all that much.

"When I Was Young" and "Spill the Wine" are pretty embarrassing, too.

I think he belongs on Spoon's list of people who started out good, then get the suck real bad.

70's -- Saturday Night Fever soundtrack

Don't get me wrong, I dig it, but it's definitely shark-jumping material, there.
