My electrician wired my new house with coax connections for the TV's. My plasma only has RCA's and component connections. My entertainment center was wired to be able to jump coax to coax so I could put my satellite receiver in there and jump it to the TV. I can't do that now and have had to run a wire from my satellite receiver (in the entertainment center) to the TV and it looks sloppy. Is there so kind of splitter or something to remedy this? Radio Shack guy was no help.

I'm sure there's a splitter you can get for it but I'm no help with this stuff unless I actually see it.

You are going to be best served by running coax-->sattelite receiver-->component output-->TV

any adaptor is likely going to be janky and likely reduce your signal (especially HDTV) so it is a toss up. Incidentally I now rap all my cables in those plastic tubes so they look cleaner since i literally have 5,436 cables despite "simplfying" everything.

If you need an adaptor though just say so and ill help you figur eit out and reccomend a source. I've had a lot of success with some web cos for cables and adaptors.

Bloor, if I'm reading you right, that's still gonna leave me with an exposed wire outside my cabinets in my living room. I'm aware of the loss in signal quality using adapters, but I'm not aware of the degree of the effect. Y'know, I could live with the wire. It's my wife that's raising sand.
