i dont know. i think it comes down to sheer boredom, and theres always a lot of problems with depression, which results in sky high suicide rates. its also always worse in towns with a road connection to the south, since they dont have to go through security at airports. theres a lot of things that are great about the north, and theres a lot that arent, but i think the good outweighs the bad.
