Which Konstantimix cover design is best?

This is a big fuck you to Cotton cos he just got a scribbly hand written track list (and it wasn't even the correct track list) with nary an art to be see but, hey, sorry man, I'm just getting round to it.

They all have a 'Bollywood' theme cos I think it's funny.

Yeah. I've decided I'm making two mixes a year and that's that. Jan- Jun and Jul - Dec.

Some of my painted lines are clearly rubbish on this one but at normal CD cover size it's not as apparent.

It's close between the first and third options but I'd have to go with #1.

All three are great. I like 1 & 3 a little more than 2, but yeah any of them.

I like the borders, text, design, and themes. What software do you use for making your covers? I'd like to do something similar with a blaxploitation theme.

I just used Paintshop Pro 5 which is ancient in this day and age so it was hardly complicated.

Just get a whole load of pictures and airbrush round the details you want to keep with solid blocs of colour. The font is Gil San Ultra Bold which comes with Microsoft Office so I didn't even spend any time looking for text.

Only takes about half an hour per cover if you're slap dash enough. Like I said at CD cover sizes you don't have to be too precise with straight lines and colouring cos it doesn't really show up.

One thing I like though is getting small images and then blowing them up cos it gives them that kinda blurry, blocky effect that makes it much easier to manipulate.
