A different taste from one of my fave local bands -- part punk, part dirty in your face rock. I love watching these guys perform. Maybe cuz for scruffy, skinny white boys, they're rather cute...and two of 'em are twins!

I'm much enamored with SSPU...along with Foriegn Born and Anavan, they're my favorite "under the radar" L.A. trifecta at the moment...

If Foreign Born is the same band I'm thinking of (forgot who I saw 'em open for), sorry to say, I wasn't very impressed by 'em. Maybe it was an off-night. *shrug*

That song by The Vacation is pretty good. I think I downloaded it from Pitchfork a few weeks ago and after playing it a few times it refused to work for me.

I don't know how they can program an mp3 to do that but well, there you are.

Ooh, I like the Silversun Pickups song. I'll have to check them out live. I heart the Vacation. They are so awesome live- lots of energy.

Foreign Born have a residency at Spaceland this month. They are one of my favorites right now.

I would have to say my favorite local band right now is Giant Drag. But they've had a good local following for awhile.

Indianapolis's local music scene is made up almost exclusively of cover bands.
