yeah, they were at a photo op. Kraft shows Putin the ring. He tries it on, and then puts it in his pocket. And just like that he's out 50 grand.

He's one of the most successful political advisors/strategists in the world. I find the guy annoying as hell though.

nah that's the opposite of what's happened. To my knowledge he hasn't advised Democrats for some years now, at least in any official capacity. But he was one of the main figures behind Clinton's victory in 92. He's basically just a political commentator these days.
