ha, yep, ayah, it's bathroom key nick...
back from the dead, well, at least in terms of the internet.
i havent been doing much lurking online of late.
how've you two been?
i've missed yr random art posts, and tania's exploits in the l.a. live music scene...

nobody's borrowed my bathroom key in quite some time, thankfully
tho i have a laundry list of other complaints, starting with the '2 abreast' walkers on subway steps who dont recognize that the sound of an approaching train might signal the shortened wait time we platform dwellers so desperately crave in the summertime. you know, so as to spend fewer moments of our all too short lives with the burning scent of urine dancing up our nostrils...

so what the hell are people freaking out about these days?
i know the last couple of records i've bought were the shout out louds 'howl howl gaff gaff' and, err, hmm. a lot of individual tracks off the itunes store, like the karen o/dj squeaky clean track from that sneaker ad, a couple of screamin jay hawkins tunes, maybe a house of love track or 2. nothing much, i guess.
oh, also got the new white stripes, nin, coldplay. listened to the 1st 2. theyre ok. interesting, not groundbreaking, but interesting enough to listen to a few times. dont really care for coldplay.
also been listening to mastodon 'leviathan', dfa 1979 'you're a woman...', jim o'rourke [a whole bunch of his shit, actually], and hot snakes 'suicide invoice'. i know most of those are old, but what can you do...
i get a late start a lot of the time b/c there's too much out there for me to keep up with

hey nick. glad you're back.
i haven't posted many art minutes recently because everything i see is either ridiculously boring or filling me with hatred (e.g.-damien hirst.)
stick around for a bit, eh?

an aside: i think i asked you this before but what train stop are you near?
