Sorry for the lack of follow-up. Because of some "friends don't want to hang out with certain other friends bullshit", the BBQ location wasn't decided until late Sunday night, and by then I figured it would be hella-hard to get a hold of you. Hope you had as good a time as I did!

no problem - i didn't have a computer at that point anyway. had a good time - got sunburned at the Mariners game though. Seattle is a beautiful city although a lot of town seemed kind of dead - maybe people were out of town for the 4th weekend.

hey Rodney, slightly off-topic... can you recommend a good restaurant for taking in-laws in Seattle downtown area? We're picking up my in-laws in Seattle Friday, staying overnight at the Warwick, and then driving back to PDX the next day.

yeah, the hotel is on 4th and Lenora... price range, probably no more than $30 per person, preferably around $20 pp.

restaurants are way more expensive in Seattle than Portland - especially downtown. If I were you I would use a few bucks and go to Belltown which is really close to downtown - you could probably even walk - there are quite a few good places out there on 1st and 2nd...even 3rd that are good like Flying Fish, Marco's Supperclub (nice patio), Restaurant Zoe (my friend really loves that place), and some I don't even know the name of
