i hope that they're still good, blowout comb was one of my favorite records back in the day.

I saw them play a couple of months ago, and the show was fuckin awesome.

I'm happy to report that the planets still have the same chemistry that put them ahead of the game ten years ago. the show opened with high energy that didn't stop 'till about midway through the set, where their extended absense from performing started showing itself. butterfly still has charisma and confidence to burn, along with crazy flow. ladybug mecca looks great and sounded excellent when I could hear her over the mix. doodlebug was also sharp, working the crowd for support.
i think their show will improve as that they get their band locked in, and they plan on dropping a new album in 2006. the tour's worth checking out if they stop in your town.
