Estone was playing this yesterday I think and I just recently bought it after digging out The Ghost of Fashion and have given it a few listens. Initial impression is that it is more country-tinged and not as immediately accessible. But I do like what I hear. Just have the feeling I need to give it a few more listens, perhaps while driving at some point. Anyone else heard it?

Funny you should mention this. I bought it when it came out and was underwhelmed for the most part. Really dug "Jews for Jesus Blues". I gave it few spins and shelved it.

The song "Weird" came on the Ipod the other day and made me pull it out again. I kinda dig it now. Kinda mellow, lyrical, smart, country-ish little album that sneaks up on you.

The lyrical content put me off at first. Stuff about European cars and German Hip Hop but after a while that stuff makes it kind of unique and charming IMO.
