Good lists. I concur with all the Neil Young... mysteriously just about every thing he's done (save about 6 years in the 80's) always hits me deep in the heart and gut. I can leave Zuma or Sleeps with Angels on repeat for hours as I read.

And of course some of the post-rock and ambient stuff. Lantana. Blithe Sons. Dead Texan. Anything Harold Budd or Eno.
