Here in Miami we've been getting strong outer band storms with huge gusts running through breaking limbs and powerlines.. We probably will not see the full strength, but if it heats up over water the FL west coast and gulf coast better brace for a heavy duty boomer. This is the First Force 4 hurricane ever recorded this early in the season. Panhandle, Mobile and LA areas could be in for another. Hold tight GAR this could be a pisser.

It's kinda like playing Press Your Luck when you live on the gulf coast. No Whammy, No Whammy, No Whammy, Stop.

I am off to the TV and then ride it out. A monstrous band is wrapping sure to hit the Miami side albeit light, but mega rain and wind if the outer bands were any sort of omen. nite nite.

latest iimage, and at the SE tip of FL where the top of the keys meet the mainland, you can see a bay, that's us, Dalen is a bit North.

there's another one behind it, too, I was watching "hand guy"--what my wife and I call him--- weather man Dave Shwartz on the weather Channel last night--- this man is the funniest man in weather.(And THAT has to be something? My wife says she used to see the guy and his boyfriends get blasted at Manuel's (atlanta bar) and he always appears tipsy while on the air, then, hell, he's a weatherman, come on, you'd drink too.
