People think I'm a cat person. But I'm really just pussy whipped.

(wouldn't have any if I lived alone)

What Mot and DayStar said. (And I know Bonor Obnerst doesn't mean the "move out" part because he is quite the cat person.)

I've had my cat for about 6 years now. He is absolutely wonderful. Very loyal and cuddley. He has never had any "accidents" either.

Cats are a lot more perceptive than most people guess they are so yeah, treat it with respect. Most cats need awhile to warm up to new people so my advice would be to be friendly but let it come to you. Give it some space and it will eventually warm up to you. Like dogs, they also like consistency--e.g. being fed around the same time etc.

Have fun. Cats can be great companions and can warm your feet in the winter.

:)

If you want my shit out of Redlands, you could just tell me, dude. You don't have to go out and get a cat ;)
