i revisted this in recommending a movie (das experiment) to opa in another topic and realized how profoundly awestruck i was not only by the film but by the fact that it was based on the real stanford prison experiment. just thought i'd post the link for anyone that hasn't read about it previously.

i think i talked about and watched the experiment in at least half the psychology classes i took in college. it's really fascinating, but how did they translate it into a film?

very well--edge of my seat the whole time--the whole thing gets really crazy at the end and i swear i was watching it with my hands up to my face and my knees to my chest.
