All three of those mentioned are in NC.

I'll see your Piggly Wiggly and raise you a Taco John's.

I'd raise you a Hot 'N Now, but from googling, I see you still have those up there.

Del Taco IS fast food. Can't believe they haven't exploded across the country and run Taco Hell outta bidness.

Yeah, honestly it used to be about 50/50 down here but Del fell off to the wayside about 10 years ago....

And I remember when Taco Bell actually used to be a pretty small and fairly quality operation in the late 70's and early 80's before they went uber-commercial.

i haven't even seen a Little Ceasars in like 10 years.

And I haven't eaten Little Caesars since college. Blech.

I remember there was a pizza joint near Georgia Tech campus called Pizza King or some shit. The pizza was inedible, but they sold Haagen Dazs ice cream, so we'd order a pizza and a pint of HD because you had to have a minimum order before they'd deliver to the dorms. Pizza would go in trash and HD would be consumed.

I'd never seen a Del Taco until I came to LV. I was told there's one in the ATL airport, but I haven't flown through there in quite a while, so dunno for sure.

really? i figured Georgia of all placves is where there'd STILL be a little ceasars. In Savannah they've got all sorts of restaurants and stores that i was convinced had closed on a national scale. it was weird.
you're thinking of Alabama dude, aka The Land That Time Forgot, aka a place where Hardee's, Winn Dixie and Piggly Wiggly still thrive (shit they probly still have Richway and Zaire's over there)

Richway and Zayre's... holy blast from the past. Most of the old Richway stores became Targets in Atlanta.

And taco bell got bought by Pepsi, as did KFC.

Used to hit up the del Taco behind highschool... man that was some good fake cheese sauce.
