This month has been absolutely terrible for music. There's been nothing even approaching half decent, nevermind anything good.

From Sufjan Stevens down, it's been one huge unrelenting wave of slurry.

When I start to pick out songs for Konstantimax 2005 Vol 2, it's going to be a bit like searching through the exploded fuselage of a crashed airliner in the unlikely hope of finding a survivor.

I'm talking to every musician in the world here, you should be ashamed of yourself! Not one of you produced any worthwhile, not one! Make August better or else!

Liked all to some degree on the first listen. Nothing overwhelmingly great yet. A few growers in here with Sufjan having the most promise (remember you had to warm up Seven Swans, Darrin).

Yeah, cause I'm really being critical of music as a whole and not say, the standard of record release over the last 5 or 6 weeks.

It must suck not being able to read or understand simple sentances.

there's so much good music out there, that it's really hard to believe you can't find anything enjoyable over the past month.
