If you make it up to Ravinia, there is a KILLER pizza joint out that way called Piero's. It's not well-known (except by the people in Highland Park), because Piero has only the one store and never had any desire to open more. It's what I grew up with and, to my memory, is still the best.

Hope you have a blast, Mike!
Maybe I'll see you.
Doubtful, but possible.

We totally screwed up getting our Cubs tickets, and we wound up buying individual seats, not particularly close to each other. We figure if it's anything like Shea, we'll be able to find two seats somewhere. Am I totally wrong?

if it doesn't work out, you could always just go to standing-room only at the back of the first level. i had to do that after buying stolen tickets.

phil, i love you, and chicago's is fine, but there's no way it's the best chicago-style pizza in chicago. as chain-y as it is, giordano's beats it by a country mile. if you could expect even acceptable service from gino's, so would they.

I think Phil and I may be the only two people in Chicago who think Chicago's makes the best chicago-style pizza.

I ain't a Chicagoan, but based on the time you guys took me there, I would have to agree. It's hard to imagine any other place would be better. Of course, I was pretty soused then, so my judgement (like my motor skills) might have been impaired. Still, that was one of the funnest times I had during last years FT WORLD TOUR '04.

Chicago's isnt bad because it's like always open but I don't think it's close to being at the top. Has anyone ever had Pete's?
