I am downloading the new death cab.

I am greatful, tho I have not yet heard it.

I here-by vow to divulge my opinion of said album, upon listening to it.

Deathcab:

Ok, tracks 5 and 6 ("I will Follow..." and "Your Heart...") are very, very good. Those two caught me within 4 seconds, so I listened to them first. I have to wait an hour before downloading part 2, because I chose the free option.

For anyone on a pc who had trouble with this, a quick bit of help: If you follow D's link, but want something other than Sigur Ros, go to the link at the bottom of that page about Uploads. Select what you want, and click on Part 1 (they are broken into 2 parts). The next page will ask if you want to download via "free" or "premium." I chose free, prehaps not surprisingly. This means I had to wait about 16 seconds for the first download to start, and then another hour before being allowed to download part 2. The progress / status of your download is tucked away in the text near the bottom of the page. It looks like fine print, but it's not.

I think I'm going to like this album a lot.

So I wait an hour, download the second half of Deathcab. It's corrupted, won't open. Wait another hour. Go back, and try one of the 2 listed mirror sites, and the file it wants to give me is a *.rar, which my computer and I do not recognize. Shit. So I go back to re-request the zip version, but now I've once again exceded my hourly limit, even though I never clicked on the .rar file.

So I must wait. Don't do what I did... unless you know what a RAR file is and want it.

If I'd gone ahead and downloaded it, would it have been worthless or ... worthwhile?

With a few more listens to Takk, I now have an opinion. Good but doesn't grab me as much as () or Agaetis. I don't hear the progress that I was hoping for. And the Hopelandic is bothering me more than it did before. However, this is still a preliminary opinion. I haven't listened to it on headphones or surround sound yet. Just my semi-crappy computer speakers.

i've spun a few times at work and i think it has a fuller sound than their debut. Not sure if i like it more than ( ). I cant really blast it at work becuse i share an office with a dolt and he always whines and says, "What's that, you listen to weird music." Fuck him.

I'll blast tonight while i'm playing College Football 06. It should sound greaton my surround sound.
