I dropped out of Journalism and into Communications Studies exactly halfway through, and it was a wonderful idea. I left journalism to enjoy free reign in a well-equipped recording studio and free reign with the written word, pontificating on sound production, ambient, minimal and electronic musics, and semiotics. I left journalism and I still give good lead.

Man, nobody knows what they want to be until they're at LEAST 28, sometimes never. Going to college at 18 should be illegal.

I knew I wanted to be a rock star at 3, but you can't fucking major in rock fucking stardom.

I was EE the whole time. Now I don't use my degree, per se, but it was definitely useful.

like you need to study english education to teach high school. get the practical degree, fall back on teaching if you want later.

Good, practical advice. Esp. in NY as long as you are willing to teach in Brooklyn or the Bronx, Im sure they would hook a brother up..esp if he could revive their students an' shit.
