Went out for lunch and ate some oysters. Not a particularly abnormal occurence for me. Drove out to pop's for some dinner. Drank a few pints, a little wine, again nothing out of the ordinary.

2AM, sat bolt up right in bed and projectile vomited all over the wall and the floor. Had to shop vac that shit, then change rooms...girlfriend said she jumped about 5 feet in the air at the sound alone.

I thought seafood poisoning is usually instantaneous vs delayed. Either way, man, that doesn't sound good at all. Criminy!

Oy, I feel for ya. I got that shit from a Healthy Choice "Sweet 'N' Sour Chicken" frozen meal a couple years ago...I thought I was gonna fucking die.

I still get a little queasy seeing those things in my grocer's freezer.

I sympathize -- had it last Monday. Except without the projectile vomiting.

Yeah, strangely enough, I think this was mild. I have been keeping my fingers crossed that there is no recurrence, and keeping food down today so far.

Worst part about this is, I have the day off from work tomorrow at least, am sitting in a place with 3 beers on tap, and don't even feel like partaking.

The first mate and I made lasagna once bout 3 years ago... ugh. I got up at about 1 am, and proceded to produce "big numbers" at both ends, simultaneously, for the nest day and a half. Think about that, if you can. Roughly 36 hours of sitting in bed for an hour, and then hovering in the shower for another 30 minutes, doing stuff that should get you evicted. At one point, I was watching Reading Rainbow on public tv, and they did a story on the Nantucket Nectar juice company, and for some reason I wept like a baby. It just struck me as the Fell Good story of the year I guess.

Even the thought of that feeling gives me pause to this day. Funny thing, though - she ate / drank what I did, and was perfectly fine.

Roughly my worst story as well. Bad chicken got me, but after the first 18 hours, I started seeing blood, so I went to the clinic in my dorm and the next thing I know, I'm in an ambulance on the way to the hospital. That was probably the most miserable I've ever been. Fucking vomit, shit, muscle spasms, headaches, it was like trainspotting or something.

Also the ambulance attendent tried to convert me and get me to join his bible study group. On route to the hospital.

It was Domino's Pizza that did me in. I was probably around 10 at the time, visiting a friend who had moved to Ohio - 3 days of vomiting! I've been avoiding the Noid ever since.
