Any thoughts? Has anyone heard it? I think it's called Cripple Crow.

haven't heard it. my thoughts say i'm buying it via emusic.

Everyone on some other forum I was on (can't remember which one, it was a couple weeks ago) said this album was complete shit, and by far the worst thing he's ever done. The consensus was that he tried to go in a new direction and failed miserably.

I can't vouch for any of this since I haven't heard it, but seriously, nearly every person felt this way.

How is it compared to his other albums...has he gone in a new direction?

That cover he did of Antony & the Johnsons was terrible.

If he's continuing in that same full-band rock direction then I definitely have my doubts about this.

i thought two of the three songs en espanol were really decent and the last one was extremely crappy.

its one of my favorite records of the year.

The version that's leaked has a pretty different tracklisting from the one on Devendra's and Amazon's website.
